Here is the Forester 1-8x24 SFP Rifle Scope review from René Kristiansen.
Review Forester 1-8x24
I have been waiting so long for testing my new forester scope, but because it's off season almost all outdoor ranges are closes. Last week I couldn't wait any longer, I brought my cal. 22. rifle to our local indoor range to make some basic test and training.
The Forester 1-8x24 is mount on my Anschütz Biathlon 1827 in a Grüning & Elmiger alu stock (my old competition stock).
Although the parallax is fixed to 50 yards, I had no problems seeing the target in all eight-zoom levels. The scope has adjustable illuminated reticle, which can be adjusted in 11 levels, and it is brilliant. The read dot in center is clear and round no matter which level you use. The crosshair is thin and don't hide anything. The lens is crystal clear, and you have 100% edge to edge view no blurry edge at the ring.
When it comes to elevations you have a range of 120 MOA, and the click is 1/2 MOA. For adjustment you pull the turret up, you adjust it and press it down again to lock the turret. The click is very smooth nut sharp; you fell them, and you can hear the small "click" (In the video). The precision of the click was super, I shot a group of five shot within size was ø6,1mm (outer diameter).
To me it's really a nice scope for hunting between 10-150m I have a Continental 3-24x56 on my hunting rifle, but this one could be my choice for driven hunt or hunting on mall distance.
