Here is the Orion Pro Max 4-16x44 HD SFP Rifle Scope review from Borbás Gábor.
My current test subject is a Vector Optics Orion Pro Max optic.
The package contains: the optics itself, allen key, shading extension, flip-up lens protective caps, manual and a 30 mm WEAVER rail mount. The packaging is of high quality, the inside of the box is lined with sponge, so it provides adequate protection during transport.
The optics are tactical binoculars equipped with a 4-16X44 HD lens and a 30 mm tube, which can be used in several areas. The front lens is 44 mm and has a multi-layer coating. This greatly improves light transmission. Its length is 344 mm, its weight is 753 grams, its tube is filled with nitrogen and has a matte black color. Its water resistance is IPX4, so it is resistant to splashing water. Its cross section is VOR-7MIL and a half millidots. The dot in the center of the reticle can be illuminated in 6 levels. Battery required: CR2032, but it is not included. It has a side focus adjustment that can be adjusted from 10 yards to infinity. The diopter on the rear lens can be adjusted from +2 to -2. Its upper tower has a Zero Stop function.
After mounting on the rifle, the settings did not take much time. I managed to try it in competition conditions. Its light transmission is excellent, the image is clear and without distortion. Aiming was also fast, as the sighting error is minimal, and the crosshairs are hair-thin, which does not obscure the target. There was no problem with targets in darker places either, they were clearly visible thanks to the HD lens. Its turrets respond well to clicks and are not sensitive to temperature fluctuations either. The opening lens protectors fit the optics perfectly and protect the lens well from dirt. The shading extension helped a lot against the sun. In the competition where I tested the binoculars, I managed to get the first place. This perfectly proves its excellent practical applicability.
Positives:
- HD lens
- minimum insight error
- hair-thin crosshairs
- distortion-free image
- many accessories
- lateral parallax adjustment
- light spot
- not sensitive to heat
Negatives:
- only the dot lights up
- his crosshairs are not tactical
- the element is not included
- Lack of 11 mm rig
This is a great telescope. It worked very well for me in the Hunter Field Target competition, but I also recommend it for larger caliber weapons. It is also excellent for silhouette shooting. An excellent choice in terms of value for money.
I can only recommend it.
