I recently had the opportunity to test the Vector Optics Taurus GEN2 3-24x56 FFP Scope on my CZ 457 .22 Rimfire rifle, and I was thoroughly impressed with its performance. This scope features a 34mm tube, which provides a wide field of view and allows for more light transmission.
I started by testing the scope at 32 yards, and it performed flawlessly. The glass was crystal clear, and the thin reticle made it easy to aim precisely.
I then tested it at 218 yards, and the results were equally impressive. The image remained clear and detailed, even at this longer distance. I was able to accurately engage my target, thanks to the First Focal Plane (FFP) design and the precise reticle. I was also able to see details that I wouldn't have been able to see with my naked eye, which was a testament to the scope's exceptional optical quality.
The turrets were very smooth to use, with a click value of 1/10 MIL, making adjustments precise and easy. The Power Throw Lever (PTL) was also a standout feature for me. It was great and smooth to use, allowing me to quickly switch between magnifications with ease.

I would have liked if it had an illuminated reticle, which would be beneficial for low-light shooting conditions.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Vector Optics Taurus GEN2 3-24x56 FFP Scope on my CZ 457 .22 Rimfire rifle, and I think it has great potential for shooting competitions. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, precision shooting scope for their rimfire rifle.
